Wykeham Forest Raptor Viewpoint

A permanent, signposted raptor viewpoint looking out over Troutsdale in Wykeham Forest, between Pickering and Scarborough. Current visitor arrangements need checking with Forestry England.
The forest and viewpoint
Forestry England's published Wykeham Forest Plan records the forest's management and the raptor viewpoint. The plan covers 2017 to 2025; it is not confirmation of current visitor arrangements. The viewpoint overlooks the forest towards Troutsdale.
Parking and location
The existing location reference is SE 935 887. The historic forest plan records limited informal parking at the raptor viewpoint and Baker's Warren. A current official visitor page, parking arrangement and approach were not confirmed during the October check: ask Forestry England before making a special journey.
Watching and access
Observe birds without approaching nests or disturbing wildlife. Current species-specific viewing months, the dog rule and step-free access were not confirmed from an official source, so they are not presented as verified facts here.
