Middlewood Farm, Fylingthorpe

Middlewood Farm on Middlewood Lane, Fylingthorpe, Robin Hood's Bay, YO22 4UF, offers electric and non-electric tent pitches from Easter to 1 November. Its touring page says motorhomes year-round and touring caravans from 3 February to 3 January; confirm the calendar for your year.

The operator also describes holiday caravans and glamping pods. Dogs must be on short leads, exercised off the park and not left unattended. The site's walking description is towards Robin Hood's Bay and the beach, not a measured walk into Whitby. Use the operator website to book.

Whitby Holiday Park, Saltwick Bay

The operator describes touring and motorhome pitches, pods and holiday homes on a clifftop overlooking Saltwick Bay. It calls Whitby a short walk or drive away; no measured time is given here. The holiday-home page allows up to two dogs for that accommodation, not necessarily every pitch or pod.

Tent availability and a fixed touring or pod season were not confirmed. Check the park website for your accommodation and dates.

Broadings Farm

Broadings Farm, YO21 1TL, accepts caravans, motorhomes and campers up to nine metres. Its operator lists more than 90 hard-standing pitches with 16A electric hookups and a five-minute walk to Park and Ride. Check the council's current bus timetable rather than the site's older bus frequency.

The operator's FAQ gives reception hours of 9am to 6pm, 1 March to 31 October. Reception hours do not by themselves confirm a full pitch-booking season. Tent availability and current dog rules were not verified, so ask directly before booking.

Planning a stay

Compare the Whitby accommodation guide if you need a room or cottage. For a day in town by car, use the Whitby parking guide; winter camping does not imply Park and Ride is running.
