Mathewsons keeps its shop and museum in the village of Thornton-le-Dale on the southern edge of the moors, with auctions now held at the company's Pickering site. The family business is the subject of the U&Yesterday series Bangers & Cash, which follows Derek Mathewson and his sons as they unearth, restore and sell classic cars and motorcycles.
